Post What are you?
http://www.nolanchart.com/survey.php

Do you even know what you believe in? Take this survey and you might learn something about yourself...

me, I ended up a Libertarian. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02

libertarian: supports the smallest possible government, supports individual liberty in all ways, prefers to only defend our borders and not interfere in other countries' affairs.

conservative: tends to give a nod and a wink to liberty while placing emphasis on government control of "family" issues (gay marriage, abortion, borders, etc.) while pushing for major military involvement worldwide by America, in the hopes of creating a faith-based, "conservative" world.

liberal: tends to give a nod and a wink to liberty while placing emphasis on government control of "social issues" (social safety net, minority rights, etc.) while pushing for major diplomatic involvement worldwide by America backed by somewhat lesser military involvement, in the hopes of creating an inclusive, "liberal" world.

statist: the marriage of liberal and conservative aspects of big government. Supports both the conservative "family" agenda and the liberal "social" agenda. Supports both major diplomatic and military involvement abroad.

centrist: somewhere in the middle of all of the above.

The National ID card question didn't have any answer I agreed with. It was worded by an idiot.

Same with the Trade question. It's worded so that very few people choose an answer other than the one they're pushing. The prices of everything don't go up because of the FED, it goes up because of inflation, the root of which is EVERY SINGLE PERSON and their desire for more money/stuff than the next guy. Trying to blame it on some cryptic corporate entity is silly. I chose that answer but some fucktwat decided to expound with idiocy.

I fall on libertarian on this test.

FACEBOOK of all places has a much more objective "grid" test to determine social & fiscal leanings. On that one I'm social liberal & fiscal conservative. I'll post it if I find it.

Meh, this is pointless for me to take, I know how to manipulate the outcome from the answers offered.

While i'd probably be identified as a liberal. I do believe in a lot of the conservative platform. And vice versus.

Overall though, i'm willing to let new ideas have a chance to prove themselves, and try to be as open to new ideas and educated debate. Speculation on the outcome of future events tied to finite amounts of money or lives is just annoying.

If things don't turn out better, i'll look for a change whether it from the conservative or liberal side.

I'm a libertarian, but I don't necessarily agree with the libertarian foreign policy.

OK Captain O, anyone who knows the stances of each camp can manipulate the answers and get the result they want. That goes for any sort of Q&A with this type of setup. The whole purpose of it is for those who don't really know how their beliefs are defined by society or for those, like some in this post, who think their beliefs fall into one category but in actuality their belief system might not fit entirely in one camp.

Haha I'm challenging you again. Any attempt to manipulate the results of such a test is absurd!! unless of course your attempting to skew the comprehensive results to make it appear as though the majority has a different belief system

My star ended up where I thought it would, in the Centrist Liberal Libertarian corner. Like any short test it definitely has its flaws, as some of the questions were rather limiting and I didn't quite agree with any one answer, mostly in regards to Trade and Money and Foreign Policy. I'd be interested to see the results of adding an abortion question and a question about capital punishment. Those would center my star quite a bit.

Obviously as a society evolves so does the body which governs it but the transitional periods are usually pretty lengthy. I'm hoping to see the end of the two-party system in my lifetime. I think that, eliminating lobbyists, and significantly capping the amount of funds allowed to be raised by political campaigns would have the most beneficial effect on our political system.
