You download the app, sign in, and set up your security if you so desire. Then drag files to your dropbox folders and go nuts! It's an amazing program that you literally forget about, yet in my case I use it every single day. I synchronize my password vault between all computers using this. I can add passwords at work and have them available to me at home, securely. I use keepass by the way. When something fucks up (such as me leaving my vault open at home, then updating at work, corrupting one of the files), i can log into the site and revert to the previous revision. Same goes for restoring deletes.
