If I may ask, did he just start hacking recently? I seem to remember one time ginzu was mentioning how he was playing on a laptop in the same room as Gman on one of the times he came to visit, so I didn't think he could've used the hacks then. I could be mixing up Ginzu w/ another n00b though, my memory of that day is kinda fuzzy.

Yeah, the shitty part is that he was good without cheats. I watched him several times when we'd steamroll kids together. He's good. No idea why he went to the darkside.... he was already good. No need to take the shit over the top. :(

I really really do wonder what he thought would happen. Being a high ranked admin and responsible, in part, for the administration of the community, shouldn't he have felt as strongly about hacking as we all do? Could it be he was hacking before he got established? Maybe its a hard habit to break or he felt performance anxiety. I dunno.

Look, here's the down low. If you're hacking, and you get caught, it doesn't matter who you are. If I were hacking, and I got caught, I'd get banned. Same thing goes for Gman, Spidey, Tucker, Bullet (lol) or anyone else. Hacks are hacks. People really need to stop, that's it.

Since I wasn't "included" in the banning, I feel a little left out and in the dark, just like the rest of you. However, I feel good about the ban the way it stands. I trust Gman's judgement in this case. I've been saying forever that he hacks, nobody ever listened. Just search up the admin forums. So I feel vindicated now.

I'm still trying to figure out why he would do something like this. He had the kind of mouse control that I always wanted, and when you are a very good player in CS, you don't really gain much from cheats. Some people do it in matches for fame, but I don't think gin was interested in that. To do it in a pub, the the only thing I can think of is to keep a very high score, but that's something he would have had without cheating to begin with.

in all honesty i think we've seen this before here at n00bfest. people in the community get to a certain level of recognition, skill, responsibility, etc... and they do something stupid to try and take them to the next level. every time its happened we lose a good member.

All other recruits and even members should learn from this...
