 Just chillin in a hotel in South DakotaI have to wake up at 5 am to take my dad to a knee surgery. I just realized that I'm the age him and my mom were when my siblings were really young. This is really tripping me out ;/ Souix Falls looks just like Omaha. There are Walgreens and McDonalds everywhere. This is also tripping me out! I want to live in an ewok village don't even care that would rock

Re: Just chillin in a hotel in South Dakota Sioux Falls is a great town, nice size in contrast to its sister Sioux City. Omaha is bullshit, F*CKING skyscrapper big city in the middle of F*CKING no where, Nebraska is a horrible state.

in my mind many cities are bullshit. omaha and souix falls share many common traits, such as strip malls and F*CKING drug stores everywhere. omaha has a few redeeming qualities, such as a decent music scene and some pretty cool people once you melt the societal walls that compartmentalize us on a daily basis. which music seems to do a lot, so i suppose they go hand in hand sometimes :D. that and my friend julie is throwing a music festival right outside of omaha this june. http://www.lovefestinthemidwest.com my band "The Electromagnetic Space Train" is playing there and we're gonna dose to high heaven before playing. there now this thread has a point! |

Re: Just chillin in a hotel in South Dakota there is going to be a stage in the forest called the "DJ Forest" and its the only stage that stays open the entire 2 days so yeah there is a forest rave for 48 hours straight. buuuut some of the best music is gonna be on the main stages i think. although the concept of raving in the forest is making me smile even as i type this.

I was the drummer for that band in 2008 when it was still a band. It says some guy named Jose plays the drums on the myspace page, whicih was last true,, but those recordings are with the original lineup.
