I admit I am not good with long range weapons at CS:S , but the most fun I have with counterstrike is running into close quarters and trying to blast through as many players as I can. players like the up-close and personal feeling knowing which players killed them while wildly jumping around frantically and re-loading, That shit that people pull on dust_2 snipping T-spawn from ct spawn is the most rediculous and cowardly thing I have ever seen in the game, it reaks of "look how many kills I got!" if that is the only way you can get kills in the game, you basically have no buisness playing

I'm not pissed about anything, I love CS, love n00bfest, just trying to shed some light on why elite server is ALWAYS empty. I was never a tourny player (but im trying to learn) , but it seems alot of people agree with me when i say ,unless on certain maps, snipe wars are not fun. You like them because you use those weaps well, but most players like the rushing/up-close experience when they play. Check my stats and you can see I get kills with any weapon (except scouts :) Not to many players can make that claim. (most players can only use Ak/deagle/scout/awp/) it takes skill to be able to pick a new weapon every other round and still get kills. People joke about spray N pray, but it takes more skill to keep a steady aim with a machine gun, then to click the mouse once at a complete stand-still and record a kill. Machine gun shots r random and they are weaker than rifles, so to keep them steady while running/jumping is actually quite challenging and fun! I wreak havok with the mp5-sub, recorded over 1,000 kills in just a few months on n00bfest. That's not lucky spraying, thats real skill.

Yeah, I remember the first day I played on the main server and there was the IP still listed for the elite server which I tried connecting to and failed because it didn't exist. I'll admit that I'm an awp whore, but I suicide rush with it just like I do with pretty much any gun. Also, I've barely touched it since the only time I don't play on n00bfest is when I'm scrimming or a friend asked me to play on their server for a map or two.

I bitch about too many AWP's, but I'll still F*CK you up with one.
