if you get a gpu with 512MB memory get 2 and SLI them bitches. otherwise get a card with 1GB. my new card is 512, and it runs css great, but other games not so much.

My buddy can also get me a GTX285 for $200. Thinking bout getting that one.

dont remember half the hardware i put in my frankenstine, and now that i think about it, i am amazed it works as smoothly as it does.

SLI is horribly overrated.

Also, if you get a 285, make sure you have enough power to run it.

Also, how do you like your 250? I picked up that card for funzies but I really like it. I think the 285 will be my next victim though, maybe two of them but who knows.

Yeah...five minutes after I wrote that comment, I started playing CSS, and five minutes into it, my computer shut off...I THINK the power supply fried. So, I went out looking for a new power supply...went to two stores...one had a 350W PSU for $40, and the other had a 750W PSU for $130. So, knowing that the 350W wouldn't do, I had no other choice but to spend $130 MORE (just spend $220 on a vid card and MW2 today) to make the computer work again. It's been two hours, and I just now hooked it all up (properly) and got it working. So, we'll see how I like it! heh.
