Anyways, what gmonz said is quite true. I don't think I've ever heard of a program (short of some rendering software) that has been able to use the entirety of a 2.8ghz processor. You could go with 4x 2.2 and get the exact same experience as 4x2.8. Hell you could probably run 2x2.2 and be fine.

The only things quad cores really outperform lesser cores on are in servers and rendering/music making. Otherwise you can save a shit ton of money by going with fewer cores.

Put it this way, I want a computer that can run LFD2 on High with around 50fps. Lol and WoW with over 60fps (if i ever played again)

Your build you posted looked fine,just swap that 9800 for a 4850 and find a good psu around 400 watts or better with atleast 20 amps on the 12v rails.The pictures of psu's on newegg always give atleast one good shot of the sticker with the specs,just look under the 12v+ rail and find one with 20 amps or better.For me thats easier than going thru the specs page.As for dual core cpu's,with prices what they are theres no reason not to go dual.Gman is right on it not being faster unless your doing more than one app at the time.But when you can get two 3.0 cores for as cheap as one.....But 4 cores and beyond is just stupid on a budget rig.
