check out www.tomshardware.com and www.anandtech.com for reviews of all the latest hardware. These are the first sites I go to read about computer hardware.

then go to www.newegg.com and www.zipzoomfly.com and maybe even www.tigerdirect.com and see which one has the parts you want the cheapest.

I spend a good 6-8 weeks reading articles and reviews on computer hardware and slowly start to piece together my rigs checking quality of parts, manufacturer warranties, compatibility issues and minimizing any bottlenecks. If you do that you shouldn't have any problems when you get your hardware. I've never had any major problems with either other the rigs I've built.

Post up your parts when your done!!

pick your processor first and go backwards lol its the easieset way to pick the right motherboard. If you pick a mobo out first and then go processor you may not like what you get.

AFter you pick out a processor post back with what it is and Im sure the tech nerds here including me could tell you what to go for in the mobo dept.

If you are going to go with an Intel processor, Intel mobos are usually going to be the most cost effective solution.
