So of all the trips that manage to lose my luggage, it's a simple Detroit to Dallas trip. My luggage was perfectly fine when going to London, it was fine going to Tanzania (Africa), and it was fine going to Bangalore (India), but they screw up going from Detroit to Dallas. WTF is wrong with the airlines??

FYI, if you fly Southwest Airlines, make sure it's a non-stop flight.

I flew from NY to ATL and ATL to Barbados for my honeymoon 2 yrs ago. They lost our luggage for 3 days. I had to hear my wife cry for 3 F*CKIN days. I was soooo pissed. So Delta Airlines gave us 300 bucks to spend on new clothes. I mailed the reciepts when i got home from the trip, month later i get a check for 589 dollars. See in Barbados, 1 USD = 2 Barbados...they just sent me the full amount instead of doin the math. But yes it sucks ass when your personal belongings get lost by a major company whose job is to get you somewhere safely with your belongings.

That shit happens, nothing to get too mad about it. Just claim your shit was over about $400 USD and they'll try to find it faster...

Well good news. Southwest found my luggage.

Of course they tell me this after I've went to sleep and offer to deliver it to me sometime between midnight and 2:00 AM. I basically told them F*CK off and deliver that the next morning. Apparently my luggage missed the connection in Chicago and they sent it on the next flight to Dallas.

Out of the many times I've flown in the past 5 years going from Germany to the states I've only lost my luggage once on the overseas flight, and that was the first time I flew to Germany moving. The last time was a flight from Chicago to Bismarck, and I think it's happened a few time to my mother them losing her luggage on the in state flight.

This thread also reminds me I get to fly F*CKING in a week, damn Nigerian, Frankfurt ain't fun to go through with high security.

Dark, lack of AC in the ticketing area. Shoot first ask questions later type security guys (applies only to non-whites). Gravel landing stip for smaller planes. Need to be re-screened before we were allowed to get on a US bound plane. Not too crowded because very few poeple there can acutally afford air travel.
