Very little has changed in way of clutches. Now with that said i would do some research and make sure i felt comfortable about doing it before i started breaking bolts loose. At the very least ask around and find a shade tree mechanic that will do it for a 100 bucks labor. For most people it would take less that a couple hrs.

Agreed, as someone who has worked on two of his own cars, you get a feeling of hell yeah I just did that AND you save a shit ton of money. I saved somewhere between 3-5k doing all the work that I did on my tiburon on my own instead of having some douche "professional" do it. F*CK, after I found out that the faggots at tweeter used an online forum to solve the problem with the head unit they sold me I realized that the "professionals" F*CK up more than the people who post guides online.

F*CK
http://mustangforums.com/

I'm 18 years old and I installed a supercharger, clutch, SRI-headers-exhaust in my tiburon using instructions manuals I found online in some DIY tiburon forums.

Do you know how many more mexicans there are driving mustangs than there are tiburons? Do you know what that means? Mods. That means that all the mexicans install mods themselves and go online to find out how to do it. I'm not gonna find a DIY for it, but my friend www.google.com could help.

ok so if your mustang is still under warrenty then you must have burnt out your clutch ragging on it or not knowing how to drive a stick since they wont cover it.

And its a car not an xbox360 YOU CAN make your own repairs and not lose your warrenty

Don't mind Super. His legs don't work, and when he gets reminded about it (by someone talking about something being broken) he gets a little sensitive.

Cripple.

You should fix that shit yourself. It shouldn't be to hard. I changed mine in my 01 Cavi wasn't bad at all. I can see if you don't want to because you have never touched a tool in your life. But fixing your own shit doesn't void any warranty unless you are adding modifications. But installing another OEM clutch will not.

so i got the call from the dealership and its gonna cost $1400 to fix my clutch but they giving me a $200 discount

No clutch costs that much to F*CKING replace, shop around. Dealerships charge F*CK loads. Imo buy the parts, and tools to do it yourself, and learn something about your car =D

Your only benefiting yourself. You would only really need a car jack, Car stands for the frame and a few tools, possibly power tools, and use the car jack to bring the clutch down, shits heavy
