The dealer, eh? I'd call around before shelling out that much money on a clutch.

Clutch is like brakes,it should be a do it your self job brah.I bet if you priced a clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, tools and a chilton book to show how to do it would be less than half what a shop gets. Its really a very easy fix.And would it not be cool to say hey i fixed that F*CKER myself.

A clutch job isn't bad on an older vehicle, but on anything from the mid 80s to now, I'd be willing to bet it's a huge motherfuckin' bitch.

Negative.

Get on a forum for your car and ask around for some DIY clutch replacement/upgrades. There will be plenty of them around since you drive a faggoty ass mustang.

Very little has changed in way of clutches. Now with that said i would do some research and make sure i felt comfortable about doing it before i started breaking bolts loose. At the very least ask around and find a shade tree mechanic that will do it for a 100 bucks labor. For most people it would take less that a couple hrs.

I know that "clutch tecnology" hasn't really changed. A clutch is a clutch, but my point is that in most of these newer cars, you have to F*CKING disassemble the front end to change a headlight. There's way too much bullshit in way too little space. Maybe it's just that I have huge F*CKING man-hands and I'm butthurt about getting pissed off every time I have to change the oil in my Nissan Versa.

I realize that not everyone has been working on cars all their lives. But still with the price that most shops charge, now is the time to get your feet wet and learn to do some things on your own.If you said you blew a head gasket i wouldn't even say try but 1200 to do a clutch?Like i said before, find that drunk down the road that will do it for next to nothing.Around here i could find someone to do it for a case of natty lite. And if you do find some jackleg to fix it for cheap get your ass up under there and watch so next time you can do it.Its no wonder the mexicans are taking over,F*CKING white people are lazy as shit.

The cripple thing hurt a little. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_13
