If my daughter was molested I'd be in a pretty blind rage, and having a gun handy (and likely alcohol or meth, considering this is DETROIT we're talking about) wouldn't make things better. The molester being my son may even make it worse.

It's not justifiable, but it's easy to see where the guy was coming from, assuming we got the whole story.

I live in a "city" near calgary and we had a similar incident like this oh.. 6 years ago maybe.. except he didn't execute his son he just pulled a .22 and shot him in the face. For the most part there isn't shit a mom can do but watch when an enraged dad takes over, in the case up here they ran next door while the arguing continued, until the bang was heard, and her son fell over dead, and then another bang was heard as the dad turned it on himself.

All this was because a honest kid confessed to his mistake that he made when he was younger.

I understand trauma but when you watch a person start pistol whipping your child for 5-10 minutes before dragging him outside and shooting him, in my opinion there was time to step in and stop the situation be it trauma or not. Yet ppl handle things differently.

I laughed when I heard that. That place is a massive chunk of property. I just read that it cost 55 million to build. The place is essentially a trashed ghost town now.

FYI The silverdome is actually nearly an hour north of detroit.

Yea it costs about 1.5 mil a year in operating costs but man it's a F*CKIN steal at that price. The land itself is worth more than what he paid for it.

Not to mention they had offers up to 20 mill and turned em down hoping someone would buy it tear it down and build a plant on the land and create many jobs. Finally they said they couldnt afford to hold out. City of Pontiac should just join detroit already lol
