HBO's Bored to Death

ABC's remake of V is looking to be pretty good.

I highly advise South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, and pretty much anything on Adult Swim as well.

House, Heroes, Lie to Me, Fringe, The Office (US), Dexter, sometimes Glee.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Office or Arrested Development.

probably because both those shows suck a BBP. they have the original british version of the office on adult swim now, and it is a shit load funnier.

i really like how its made on the discovery channel, its just F*CKING cool to see how shit is manufactured.

I forgot Lie to Me. That show is godlike. Unbelievably good.

The Office (US) went downhill fast the past 2 seasons. I was its biggest fan right about until Jim & Pam started hooking up-- then the main source of dramatic tension went away, so the show became about gags and "oh how cute are Jim and Pam".

BBC's Office is just fantastic, but the humor is so dark you may start feeling depressed. But I like that feeling here and there. The full series is worth a buy if you appreciate good dark british comedy. I have the whole thing in digital format too, I assume you can still find it in torrent form.

Glee is very good except for the lame-ass song & dance stuff. The cheerleader on that show is a goddess or an alien, but she's not of this earth. Fap material all around, between her, the other cheerleaders, the guidance counselor, and the unconventionally pretty main singer girl.

South Park is the prima facie source of a lot of my understanding of current events & political climate. If you've got Libertarian leanings, that show is gospel for the most part. The best thing is, self-righteous/religious assholes can't get past the cussing and overt situations, so the show gets to be "our own."

White Collar is good, but I think that along the lines of "light undercover/spy fare/too good to be true" Chuck wins. The main actor on White Collar plays Bryce on Chuck, so catch-22.

Haha, fair enough about The Office, but I still think Arrested Development is amazing and deserved more than three seasons.

I've not given AD a decent chance, and if I remember right their entire show is up on Hulu. I'll give it another shot this wknd.

I watched an episode of Sons, and here was what I got out of it:

Dad: No problem Son, I got some new tattoos too, and my friends did too.
