Post Motorcycles anyone?
So who rides and what kind of motorcycle(s) do you ride?

I have a 1983 Honda V-45 Magna 750 (pic below). It was my first bike and I'll never get rid of it. It only has 14,000 miles on it. I recently added a 1998 Ducati 900 Super Sport to the collection. Before next summer I plan to buy a larger bike for long rides. Most likely a Harley of some sort.

Been riding about a year now. The Magna bikes are sick as hell. For the love of God, don't buy a Harley. Get a VTX or something.

I feel you on this. Problem is, my dad rides a Harley, my bro-in-law rides a Harley, and alot of the clubs around here that host rides and stuff are Harley only. For along time I was against the Harley Davidson band wagon, but I have found a few that I like, and if I have to get a Harley to ride with my dad I will. But that's a whole other story.

GOOOOOODDD, you bastards. I can't wait til the start of this winter so I can get a bike(always cheaper then).

I haven't decided if I want to go cruiser or crotch rocket...any suggestions? I'm fully aware of the consequences and the ups and downs of both.

I just like how the "Cruiser" type of people are compared to the douchieness sp? of sport riders(not all of them).

If your dad is too much of a HOMOSEXUAL to see past a shitty brand name, then I'd tell him and his clubs to F*CK off.

Generally all motorcycle people are cool. Once two people establish that they're both motorcycle owners, there's a mutual respect between them immediately. Bikes are cool to bikes on the road, too. You'll never see a motorcycle cut off another motorcycle -- unless they're some HOMOSEXUAL asian fanboy kids trying to crash their hayabusas into the wall... and F*CK those guys.

You're totally right Gman, but here it's sadly that way. Cruisers trash on sport bikes and vica versa.
I just like the comfortable laid back ride of a cruiser compared to an on edge ride of a sport bike. (I have some experience on both)
All my buddies who own cruisers are some of the coolest guys, most of the people I know who own sport bikes wouldnt even know what to do after 3rd gear, have no business being on anything over 15 HP and are rich C*CK bastards...except one off the top of my head.
However, respect on the road by all riders even if it's a mo-ped is shared equally, which in all reality is what matters the most.

A lot of people think it's that way until they get a bike. It's generally just friendly shit talking, really.

Here's a funny pic, though: Image

My two buddies and I (Honda Shadow owners -- one VLX600 and two VT750's [my spirit and an ACE]) went for a cruise down a really twisty rollercoaster of a road on a camping trip. Strange's Ninja 250 couldn't handle the wind -- it was blowing him all over the road and there was no way he could safely ride it in those conditions... so we put it in the back of AngryKitten's truck.

lol @ 3 cruisers on the pavement and a sport bike in the truck.

I miss a drive my motor cycle. It were Daelim Daystar, 125cc.

It very like Honda Rebel as Gman say me. Made in Korea by conjunction of Honda and Daelim.

I did had American license plate on it.

The Dyna's didn't come out until '91? Are you sure it's not another variant of the SuperGlide?

no brah its a tron bike. think of it as a ATV/motorcycle crossover. the engin compartment is big enough to handel a larger eingine, but it only comes in 150cc standard that i could find, so my uncle doing it as a project. gonna put in a bigger engine and possably a bigger gastank, but hes gotta design one and fit it on there, not terrably easy work.

just do a search on ATV sites for it, its made by KMD. here are the specs for a 150cc bike.

8) Start mode: electric start

9) Tires (front/rear):12 x 3.5-10

10) Transmission mode: chain

11) Brake mode(front/rear): dual hydraulic disc / hydraulic disc

12) Shift speed type: CVT

13) Suspension(front/rear):independent double hydraulic shock/ hydraulic shock

14) Length x width x height (mm): 1710x700x750

15) Seat height (mm): 530

16) Top speed (km/h): 100
