Hey, i;m looking to upgrade my monitor.

I was just curious of what you guys play with and also if you had any recommendations.
When it comes to recommendations keep them in a decent price range (: Monitor < 500.

i hope u know that thread by doubleseven was mostly bullshit, that 28" hanns-g monitor sucked ass. the gateway looked good, but the reviews sucked, it didnt give any monitors that were even remotely worth buying (or availible on the sites they came from). I would suggest a monitor with the highest contrast ratio. the hanns-g monitor has 800:1 which is total crap!! u want one with at least 20,000:1 (1,000,000:1 is the best ive seen so far on a computer monitor). size is not a huge deal if its 21 inches or bigger.

i have a Dell 24" widescreen that i've had for 3 years now. love it, and now it doesn't cost so damn much.

You should probably shoot for a 120hz if you are getting an LCD. Not sure what the max res on most of those are, but if it at least has a 1900x1080, you should hop on it. HD CS looks F*CKING hot.

I've always been a ViewSonic fan, they're reliable, crisp and priced well.

i like viewsonic as well, however i have an acer x203h 21" it look great and plays well but it only handles up 75hz, i want a 120hz, that's what i'd go for.

I love my LG that I posted in the other post and it's in your price range Mossy.
