MitchMonsta has been VAC banned. That means he was cheating. At first, he denied it... but he finally confessed to using cheats in some scrims. MitchMonsta has been a member of n00bfest for a while, and it sucks when someone who is part of the community breaks the rules, but for being VAC banned, he has been removed from [n00b].

That being said, he has been a valuable member of the community with regard to getting the subclans more active in competition. Since he has contributed to the fun atmosphere in n00bfest so much, we aren't going to outright ban him like we would any other member.

MitchMonsta will be eligible to re-apply for n00b following a 30-day suspension starting today. His re-admission to n00b is entirely up to the council.

If he is ever found cheating again, or if he ever gets VAC banned again, he will be permanently removed from n00bfest.

His subclan, Forgotten Shooters, will remain in place. It is my understanding that the group really doesn't need a leader in the interim... but if someone is active enough to assume the role during his suspension, they can step up. I personally appointed Genocide, but he says he doesn't think that they need a leader.

The only thing this kid is sorry about is getting caught. He even lacks the good taste to be embarrassed about the fact he cheated in scrims.. while wearing our tags. This won't just go away. "Others cheated so I did." WTF kind of logic is that? I can understand a second (or third) chance, but from reading his posts I get the impression he hasn't really changed his mindset, he'll put in his time.. then we'll have to watch him 24/7. I for one will never believe a nice shot out of him again. Nor will I be involved in any kind of scrim with him. I also will not support any type of league play from him under [n00b] tags. I've done my best to stay mostly out of this one, but the bullshit meter is nearing capacity.

I hate to take any side in this argument other than poking everyone with a stick, but Rok has hit the nail on the head with his post. Valuable or not, he doesn't seem to have any humility to admit that he fucked up because he is a F*CK up and honestly, I don't feel that there is any place here for hackers who blemish our name and then don't care.

I have a zero tolerance policy towards cheating. This is one of the reasons why I do not like going to scrims with anyone I don't know. Saying that you cheated because some teams in your scrims cheated (whether it is true or not) is the worst excuse. If you lose a match or get killed, take it gracefully. Even if they cheated, it's just a scrim, not the cal-i finals. What I dislike the most is seeing experienced players hacking - and actually hiding it well (until VAC catches them).

If he was forthcoming about this before VAC caught him, it would've been an entirely different situation. That warrants giving them another chance, but this situation is the opposite. It is just my personal view, but I don't want to be associated with someone like that. If it were upto me, just as with Rok, it would be a permanent ban but like I said, I know it is not up to me. It is just my view.

I have been banned several times due to hacking accusations. I have watched other good, experienced players getting banned due to hacking accusations. For this reason above all, whenever I see a real hacker getting caught, I cannot ever think of anything other than a permanent ban.
