atm I have at&t dsl and they are upgrade the cable now so ppl here can get U-Verse. im running 6 meg dsl atm which is crap. they said I would be able to get up to 22 megs if I got U-verse but a tech that lives here told me its kinda glitchy?

Uverse isn't bad. That's what I use. $34 a month for like 30 mbs or something like that. I haven't had a single problem with it, well, not that I've noticed.

If its fairly new to your area I would get it over what you have currently
The glitchy part around here tends to come from the people further down the line. If your pretty close to where it hooks up to the main line youll be ok. I prefer U-verse over Comcast
