I agree with strange. I had wireless and kept losing connection, upgraded to wireless N nic, then upgraded my router to wireless N, then said F*CK it, moved the modem into my room and plugged straight into the back of the modem. No more problems!

i turned my wireless card off to save power, run a straight shot through my router, faster, safer, more efficient......F*CK wireless

Re: Some one please help me with this computer problem
If you can invest In a signal booster, these add range and strength to your router. You may also wnat to invest in a Gaming type router that takes advantage of 300Mbps wireless N. Make sure you also try to avoid placing your computer in a room that is crowded with alot of other wireless devices that can cause interference. You can try all these things but the only way to get the best possible Game expperience is to Go fully wired. You can get very long ethernet cable and run it through the attic and walls and it should work nicely and be a hell of alot faster. www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_kw=Router+Si ... i+WirelessYou can also try this http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-XAVB101-P ... B001AGM2VII would however just get a long cable its likely the most reliable and cost efficient option of the bunch.

Re: Some one please help me with this computer problem
That just seems to be a bug with your wireless adapter software. As long as your net connection is working fine, I wouldn't worry about it. As far as your latency is concerned, depending on your location and the number of hops it takes a packet of data to travel to the destination, you might never see an improvement even with a faster ISP or with a direct ethernet connection. Go to http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest (select the java vesion) and make sure that you are getting close to the speeds that your ISP has promised.
