Ya it is a very good card.. I'm most likely going to go for the GTX 680, once I finish paying off my house a little later in the year..

yeah the 680 is cool, but if you are to go that route just get the 670ftw, edition or something, it's on sale now too for 350, which is the lowest i've ever seen it. pretty much on par with the 680

anyways this is kinda for the games, as some people wanted them when i was talking to them on the server

Ya, I think that promo is going on for most ATI cards on newegg.

I won't be able to buy one until late summer, early fall.. Right now I am running a GTX 480, honestly it plenty powerful for what I do.

Wouldn't it stand to reason that since video card technology is constantly evolving, in almost every single case, the card you most recently purchased is the best card you ever owned?

No I have bought a few cards in the past that should have been good but sucked. I bought an ATI once for $60 that out performed the $200 Nvidea that I bought to replace it. I also was not to impressed with the 460 GTX that replaced my old 8800 GT. yes it was better but not enough in my eyes to justify the cost. Too bad the 8800 had burnt out though, that was a good card. The 680 has so far exceeded all my expectations and has yet to even struggle with any game I play with all the settings set on high. That's a first for me with a Vid card.

the gtx titan just came out, technically the titan was supposed to be the gtx680, and the gtx680 was supposed to be in the price range of the 670 and670 in the price range of the 660, but since ati couldn't come out with a better card than the 680, nvidia figured they could just sell the 680 and mark up the prices and the gtx numbers, so when titan comes out they can mark the price of that up a bunch too....

Makes good business sense. Sucks for us though!
