Im going to school in the Fall Tazz after I acquire a vehicle for transportation

Im not looking at any specific cars Im in the market for a good car for around 1,500-2,000

I currently Have around 1,700 saved. I would like to keep saving for another month or 2 because i want to get something descent that's not going to break down in the first 2-3 months of having it.

I really Am thinking about a Honda Or toyota
Both those brands are known to last Forever and have some of the best reliability Reviews of all the car brands. Im trying to stay away from Brands like Hyundai, kia,Saturn etc Although if i find one cheap enough and in good condition i might risk it

Just remember to save quite a bit of extra money on top of what you need for the car. Like $500 at least to have a little leeway for little things you might need for the car, and also license and registration, insurance. All the little goodies.

I remembered you mentioned that you were considering moving up to the Northwest. Still on your mind? If that's the case, you might want to look into certain types of schooling for the types of employment that have mass opportunities for up here. Like engineering. Work at Intel(they've got 480 open positions right now in 1 location here), or Nike's world headquarters and make bank.

I work at a Local Italian restaurant, its a Family Owned Business. And yes I only get minimum wage cause its my 1st Job (my town has a very high unemployment rate, Kids my age are about 30-40% unemployed) Its sucks ass. When i get some money for a car saved im going to start looking for jobs in the surrounding cities that will give me more hours and better pay.

well that explains it . there are over 1000+ jobs in my town currently so avg starting wage is 9-12$ an hr. Do you get to eat free food? that would be a sweet bonus! even discounted would be ok.

Sometimes i get free food But i always get a 50 percent discount at the pizza store he owns next door Idk i havn't eaten at the restaurant but its w/e
