 Anyone wear Timberland boots?
Well I am needing a new pair of boots for work and several co-workers have recommended Timberland 6" Premium Boots. I did not realize new ones where $150.00+. I was able to fine some "Like New" Used pair on craigslist and I am wondering if anyone could tell me if these are 100% Authentic Real boots as I have read online some people make counterfeits. They seem real but just wanted some comfort before I pull the trigger. Thanks, J

red wing work boots will last you 3 or more years and they cost 300 ish but the cost is worth it with comfort and durability. http://www.redwingshoes.com

What Dazed said. Red wings are great boots.
I normally buy Danners for work. Just because they have an outlet store near me. They are always comfortable, and they last a long time. I think I normally only spend about $80 - $120.

 Re: Anyone wear Timberland boots?
What is usually done with fake Timberlands is the front of the boot is shorter. But the ones in the picture look about right. The stiching also looks legit. The best way to tell is the feel, if they are fake most feel like shit. But the picture above you can almost see the soft fabric grooves.
Depending on your price, I'd say pull the trigger.

2004 called.... Quote: timberlands are shit and not even remotely "fly" That's because, in the North, when you want a workboot....you are going to get some weird ass brand that no one knows about from Fleet Farm, but by golly, that boot can withstand a F*CKING personal mine, let alone a steel beam dropping on it.

 Re: Anyone wear Timberland boots?
Timberlands are not that good as work boots. They don't last as long anymore.
I got a pair of diehard steal toes on sale cheap from sears that are comfortable and work great for me at work. Most of the people at my plant go with Redwing and say they are the best work boots you can get. I didn't know about them moving the manufacturing of the boots to China, but everything is made in China so...

Umm, I live like 40 minutes north of Red Wing, MN.
I go just north of Red Wing to shoot almost every weekend, sometimes shoot at a range in Wabasha which requires driving through Red Wing.
Pretty sure they're still made there. It's a company who actually takes pride in their shit...
