Hey guys, I was wondering what I should upgrade on my computer. I was contemplating either another 4 GB of RAM or a bigger case so I have more room to work with since my video card takes up ALOT of space. I'm open to any suggestions.

Im Done Upgrading Im just buying things i can use now liek a new mouse,keyboard, and monitor.
Once i have all that shit im just building from scratch.

Hahah I'm upgrading because I got a monitor when I built this computer a few months ago, I got a new mouse and keyboard a little before I started CSing again. So just looking to upgrade components to add. I forgot to mention but I was thinking of upgrading the case to the Antec P183.

I never understood the whole case thing, as long as it has the space I need who cares what it looks like it sits under the desk. So now I'm curious what does the new case have the old one does not?

More room for 120 mm fans thats what. Also you don't need a bigger case unless you really never want to move it around a lot. A mid tower is great for lans.

honestly your build seems fine there is no reason to upgrade anymore i run 4 gigs of ram and a high end graphics card as well and the fact is your not using at any one time all of what you currently have, for instance vista can only use about 3.somthing gigs of ram the rest becomes virtual graphics cache, your proceesor quad core would only use 2 processors at any one time unless you do what i did and force diffrent proccesors to do diffrent things, for instance one core does all graphics one does all backround monitoring and 2 perform my current task(gameing)
dont waste your money wait until you have at lease ANYTHING to gain from an upgrade.

64 bit Vista allows you to use all 4 or 8 gigs of ram. But your right about not needing to upgrade the quad core right now. Wait till the i7 come down some more then upgrade. O and your 260 if its a 216 bit will last you for a while even not it will still last you a while.

I understnd that I don't need to upgrade. The idea just came up because I'm buliding the younger brother a computer and thought to give him my Antec 300 case and just ugprade.

Get the coolermaster 590 its a great mid tower case. Or go with the antec 900 squared if you feel like spending 100 plus on a crappy case.

Or The Enermax Uber Chakra (I use it). Excellent case, especially if you're into overclocking. The e-sata port on top is nifty as well. The side fan (250mm) is a monster, and you can control the airflow (in/out).

See I really hate led fans right now. Cause i have my computer in my room now and I just can't sleep with it on. So less windows and bright lights make me happy.

I can't vouch for the 902 itself, but I own an Antec 900 (which is what the 902 is sans-a few extra tweeks) and I love that case.

Really? I kinda prefer the look of the original myself. To each their own I guess.

People just don't understand when it isn't broke don't fix it. But they changed it cause the 1200 so that they match for some reason.

Some people think that it's perfect the way it is, but they probably get alot of complaints about different things when a new model comes out. So they gotta add things to the "perfect"

This is My tower its awesome its a server case ideally so plenty of customization room runs well with SLI systems or similar nice cooling airflow, however can be noisy get quieter fans than stock and your set.
i set mine up with multiple colors tho its red plasma and blue fans .

See i like having a case that has all 5.25 inch bays cause i have my hdd's suspending from bungee cords to lessen the noise from them. Then i suspended a 120mm fan in front with cords. Plus I have all my fans on a controller and only run them at half speed. That's how you make a silent case. I can barely hear my drives which are at the bottom of my case when there seeking.

hatboy q:o uses the p183... its a very nice case...however only thing i see that u can use is maybe another 260 so u can play on biggggggg monitors
