I have been hearing mixed opinions on it. Hito never plays it from what I see but I see others playing it like davep. How is it... is it worth throwing money at?

I like it! It's much slower and more thinking has to go into it in my opinion. They also fixed a lot of the guns and left others broken.

its a really good game, but as expected its still is not completely finished or polished. Still waiting for it to get there but well worth the $15.
now if only ppl played in our server....

Im really not a big fan of it. To me it has a completely different feel to it than CSS and 1.6. I played it pretty heavily for 2 weeks, but slowly reverted back to source. At $15 its really a toss up for a purchase.

If you want to run around holding Mouse 1 to get kills play CSS, if you want to actually feel like you are worth a shit by aiming and burst shooting to get kills play CSGO.

Oh, well in that case, I'm sticking to Source.

This. If you're going to pubstar stick with Source, if you want to actually play CS, get 4 friends and play GO. Pub bads in GO are the worst.

Also, Apok and I were random comping the other day and it threw me in with some HOMOSEXUAL I went to high school with. Kid wanted to talk some can't-let-go-of-the-past shit and Apok pinched off a loaf in his mouth. It was hilarious.

It's only 14.99 I would say just buy it, or wait for a deal. I was able to pick it up for 9.99 during the recent "Free Weekend". I am almost positive STEAM will have a BIG sale for Black Friday or Cyber Monday so just pick it up you might like it. It will only get better as time passes, everyone said the same thing about source when it came out and didn't want to switch from 1.6 but as time passed just about everyone switched...

If you like CS, but ALSO like reg, then CS:GO is for you.

omg, the reg in GO is beautiful. the hitboxes are smaller and more fitting to the body, yet i get more headshots in go because the reg is better and it's a better game in general.

I never see anyone on the CS:GO servers :/

Most people just use the automatic server finding feature instead of just going to a regular server now.
