So after speaking with the Almighty G, how do people feel about resetting the world again? The full 1.4 release isn't until Halloween, and some people are ancy/the server is rather empty lately. Usually this is a combination of life/boredom. We will be using the snapshots either way, and for those who are wondering, yes, there will be a second server WITH mods when the update is out and all the mods are actually updated.

EDIT: Seeing as the poll looks to be in favor of a reset, it will be done. Date for the reset is back to Friday, Oct. 5, seeing as they released the next snapshot early. Reset will be done around 1PM to 2PM EST.

If there was an option to just make large biomes appear more often rather than ALL biomes be large, I would do that. Since there is no option like this, things will just be kept on default.

They need to make it more user friendly, like flat world, but normal at the same time, like the minerals and such.

Basically they need to take what they got and offer up a lot more options rather than just being like this is how it is, here you go. It would make things a lot more interesting if you could vary your world generations with simple options, like maybe have it so you can set the sizes of specific biomes to be larger than normal, or even smaller. There's many things that could be added to this, but you get the idea.

yeah every time we reset the world a file of the previous world is made available in a dropbox for anyone to download.
