Heyo, I compiled a small list of some things people, including myself, have been curious about:

Changes made to the GO server:

-Game mode changed to "Classic Competitive" while still somehow retaining "all-talk" and possibly the "Zeus"
-Retaining "all-talk" post death.
-Friendly fire ON.
-Adding more maps to the rotation, possibly custom maps.
-Flashlights? (I personally don't care).
-Mod tools (so Reily and Cont can have their way with me 24/7).
-Banning (or not banning because IMO It's pretty balanced now) the Awp and Auto Snipers.

Also all those were already suggested but reasons were given not to do it currently.
1. n00bfest is a casual server in the sense of the name so they left it set casual
2. I think Gman meant to completely turn it on but forgot to switch around the setting for deadtalk
3. Won't happen while collision is off because it will cause lots of tking, I suggested this for the CS:S server and this was the exact reason I was given.
4. I don't know if I saw this one suggested yet
5. Why?
6. You mean Mani Mod and that's a work in progress by the development team I think, it's really buggy atm from what I've seen
7. No reason to ban the AWP or Auto Sniper, only people who complain about it are the ones who can't aim (plus I had fun shooting badguy over and over again the other night while he was intoxicated and calling me hacks, apparently he doesn't know the AWP is a 1 shot kill majority of the time). CS:GO is a lot more skill based then CS:S so I guess it was understandable why it was banned on the CS:S server but no reason to on the CS:GO one, plus Gman said he thought it would be good to keep it on.

my guess is there won't be a lot of big changes made to the GO servers until an admin mod can be put into place. right now i don't believe there is a specific time frame for when that will happen. We just have to sit tight until then. i mean, it has only been out since 8/21. The biggest thing is to get an admin mod that is stable, so we don't wreak havoc on the server.

Mani mod is TERRIBLE.... It is like the easiest thing in the world to hack, does not perform as well as source mod, and is not updated frequently....

The server lags on Italy just thought id bring it up.

It's only a matter of time before there is a decent admin mod for GO.

I've used plenty of mods from Source Mod, Mani Mod, Beetles Mod, AMX Mod, Admin Mod and rcon. Mani has some features that make it attractive, but other than that, it's a piece of dog shit.

I'm impressed every time I get matchmade in to a server running SOURCE MOD
