If you haven't canceled out Honda yet, and and don't mind/like driving a stick shift, than a 4 door Civic SI might be an option for you. When i was searching for one, I remember base models starting at around 21-22 thousand. It's what I have (a coupe though) and i'm loving it

coupe or sedan doesnt matter the reason I say this is because it seems you keep cars for a long time and the Hyundai will hold its value and cost lest in repairs than the dodge cars also the v6 coupe is totaly bad ass and the sedan is F*CKING PLUSH like BMW PLUSH for the same money as the dodge..

They also have a 4 banger with a turbo which i have driven and it is bad ass as well.

Yeah...my sister has a Hyundai, and she seems to like it. I've thought about getting one...to be honest, I've thought about getting too many different types of cars...don't really have one picked out yet, and I'm driving home to WA tomorrow for three weeks. When I come back down to CA (for another six weeks), I want to have a new car (not sure if I want a NEW new car, or a used car yet....don't really have money or good enough credit for a new 20,000 car....) for the trip down and the trip back up at the end of October. Oh, and, Gman, I looked at the Versa...looks nice...I've added one of those into the mix of ones that I'm thinking of now. For a cheaper new car, I'm thinking about either one of those, or the new Kia Forte. Looked at getting another Honda...too expensive. My price-range is probably below 20,000.

I'm pretty tall and pretty fat and the Versa is still really comfortable. I have to lean the seat back a bit so I'm not hunched over, but even then, it's a nice smooth ride.

I have a honda civic as well 02 lx coupe with 101k miles and just recently did timing belt and water pump as
preventive maintenace. Still couldve gone another 30k miles on belt and pump probably.

You were pushing your luck with that belt. I just saw that same exact car throw one at 100k and basically destroy the engine. There is absolutely no reason for them to still be using belts instead of chains.
