I didn't know Samsung made SSD drives. If you read through the reviews the positve ones are all super positive and the bad ones are your typical I got a dead drive and now I'm pissed. For $99 I think it's a good deal.

If you are just going to use windows and maybe two or three games, you'll be golden and it looks solid. If you like to have a few more games installed and got some heavy programs you use for god knows what, you may want to hold off and get a larger drive.

Samsung makes decent storage devices, the standard HDD I run my data from is a Samsung OEM.

Samsung is actually doing really good with all their drives. I just bought an OCZ for $60 and I've seen mixed reviews about it but I haven't had an issue and it's been on continuously since the beginning of July.

We bought Samsung's HDD division back in Nov. I lol'd when I saw the pic. It's a really cool casing. BUY It.

Might be wrong but that drive doesn't come with the mounting kit and the one with the mounting kit for a desktop is more. Not sure if your buying it for desktop laptop or what but they sell the drives as kits for what you need

Nokit which is what you got has no kit which you will need to mount in your computer unless you already have a mounting kit and your just replacing an already existing SSD.

Hmmm....didn't notice that. I have an adapter for a floppy drive. hopefully that will work.

Unless you have a pexiglass side where you can look into the case you can honestly just AFRICAN AMERICAN [lol] something to work. No need to fork out more cash.

Yea, you cant see my hard drive cases through the side, plus i think my case came with a SSD adapter, gotta go look in one of my many boxes haha

mine is just laying inside the case, they are so light weight that you can just stick them anywhere.

You can buy a mounting kit wicked cheap. When I bought my Corsair SDD a while back, it came with a mounting kit and I didn't need it because the case I was using had one built in. So on my old Dell that I'm fixing up right now, I bought a Seagate Momentus which uses the laptop form factor similar to other SSD's, except it's a hybrid drive...well anyway good thing I had the kit because it was a bare drive that didn't even come with a box or screws.

That seems legit i'd get it!
