So our cable company, Cable One, has been steadily increasing our cable bill over the last few months. It's crept up from around $150 to $220. When we asked them about the $70 increase, they had no idea. So, we switched. F*CK em. Grande is our new provider, and it's faster, hell yeah. Also, no monthly bandwidth cap, we can use all we want! Cable one capped us, bah. Took all of that junk back to em today, yep yep yep.

At 50mbs you should have cap, you may not notice because ether you were grandfathered if you've had them for ages or you don't notice it because data is only counted towards the cap during 8am-12am or so.

And to give you perspective I can get 100mb/s from a local provider cable company for 100 bucks compared to your 50mb/s for 70. No Cap.

It took me 18 hours to download Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, which is under 700mb and I tried downloading Windows 7 Home Premium x64 from Digital River and it timed out after 1.5gb, which took a day.

Wtf go to a library and download that shit or even order the F*CKING CD.

So i tested it again and this was the fastest speed i got today out of 5 tests. idk wtf is going on with comcast, yesterday i was lucky to get over 1mbs now im at 20ish
