I do prefer my Ps3 to friends Xboxes but i rarely even play it any more.

from what I could gather in a quick google search the next xbox console istn' due out till 2011'ish. As far as ps3 vs saving goes, take a look at what games are solely on ps3 and decide from there, Ive never really found a huge difference3 between consoles since I started playing its all about what you like more than anything

I have both fish I like the PS3 for games and you can watch blu-ray and the intranets on PS3. Xbox is better for online gaming thoe.

If there aren't any, then there really isn't a point in getting one if you have a 360, as any game you'd want on the PS3 would be on the 360 as well. You'd just be paying for a blu-ray player. Yeah, there are some differences between the systems, but IMO the primary purpose for buying a console is that there are games you want to play on it that you can't play on any other system.

I'd go with the 300 Pounds, not saying anything bad about Ps3 as I am a proud owner of one...but you can do alot more with 300 pounds, you could put it towards something or get something you might use more frequently..

theres already gonna be a new xbox? Id just see what games youd want to play on the ps3 that wont be on the 360. But honestly.. Theyre starting to release sony exclusive titles on the 360 like final fantasy 13, devil may cry, etc. Im considering buying the new ps3 slim.. but im reallly hesitant.

I like the PS3 for its multimedia capabilities. I mean if you can come to swing the money and you want to indulge go with the PS3 IMO. The money is also a good option too if you want to save it for a rainy day since you are unsure of what you might want now.

Xbox > PS3. All that PS3 really has over the Xbox is the Blu-Ray players but why would you spend money on such an expensive blu-ray when you can get one cheaper. PS3 online gaming sucks too. I'd go with the Xbox if you plan on playing alot of games and playing online too.

I feel the non-multiplayer games are on par with each other. Obviously the Xbox online gaming would be better than the PS3's because you have to pay for it. Not for nothing they have their outages too. The money that you give them to play online helps them in the upkeep of their servers hence providing a gaming experience online.

Depends on which Xbox you get. If you had a Falcon they underestimated how hot the GPU would run and how close everything was together thus the read ring. But the new Jasper units have solved this problem. lots more copper tubing.

i have 2 ps3's at my home right now. trying to sell one of them. i have all 3 consoles. wii xbox360 and ps3 they're all the same to me really. the only difference is the controllers. but bluray movies and wifi on ps3 is nice.

It is a good buy in my opinion. I personally like the matte finish and the physical buttons and it is cheaper than what the old PS3 used to be.
