Some of you know that today I spent my whole day moving into my new place in Tigard, OR. At about 4PM I got a call from my mom telling me happy B-day, and also boil all your water. The statement confused me. So I asked why. It seems that as of today, Most of Portland OR is on a boil water alert. One of our reservoirs is contaminated with total coliforms and E.coli. I moved right onto the border of the red zone. Unfortunately the wrong side though. Now I have to sterilize my face and hands with hand sanitizer after showers, cant wash my veggies, etc. Welcome to Tigard Caniboid! lol. That's my story for the day. Time for some much needed sleep. This moving shit is harder than I remembered.

Oh and one last thing....F*CK IKEA FURNITURE! Takes way to long to assemble.

Even with the E.coli, we still have the cleanest water in the nation.... bahahaha.

I like IKEA shit. Love the aesthetic but yes some of their furniture is flimsy as F*CK.

Where I grew up. If you wanted your water to be completely clear you let it sit in your glass for a little then it looked alright. Thus every water I taste that isnt that is f*cking amazing.

Lol. I live over in tualatin :D we are fine over here. But I ward they finally drained the reservoir today. So hopefully the e coli should be gone within the next day or so. WELCOME TO THE PORTLAND AREA :D

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love IKEA furniture.....once it's put together. It's putting it together that sucks lol. Thousands of unnecessary screws and bolts. I just bought a few dressers from them and some stuff for my dads place(for my nieces and nephews play house.) love all of it.



This is something that can happen anywhere, at any time. If there is a reservoir near you that supplies some if not all of your water, then it may happen to you.



Ya, it's a small area having the issue. Just happens to be the most populated areas, like downtown and Beaverton/Tigard.
