If you had 3 guns you could buy now (hypothetically) and have throughout a breakout of zombies what would you have? Consider availability of ammo, weight to carry them all and effectiveness, clip size reliablity, sound etc, and anything you consider important.

My choices would be:

.308 springfield m1a for long range
.22lr submachine gun (semi auto) large clip, and cheap ammo
9mm glock for close range

There's too many other things to consider in this hypothetical realm. Are there gonna be fast or slow zombies, where are you planning on staying or heading towards and if there will be thousands of them bunched together or spaced out because they have cooties?

The slow hard hitting/stubborn to die zombies are Cyning

OK, so off the top of my head I would bring any Smith and Wesson model 59 series 9mm maybe model 915 just because the ammo is common.

I won't go with a shotgun, unless I can get one that holds more than 3 rounds like a Mossburg 12 gauge street sweeper, plus there loud.

So, I would say an M4 with a suppressor.

and last, another handgun, something small like a glock 7 (yes, I'm a DIE Hard fan) if I can afford it.

1911 for shooting ppl.

Plan on everything, loner, groups, basically anything like the walking dead. Obviously if you're facing well fed zombies they will run faster for longer.

What are three guns you wouldn't trade any other for in the world if you came across others. Im not saying you wouldn't take them back to camp, just if you had to use only 3.

Zombies are real they just look like regular people, zombies are fighting hobos that eat other hobos faces off.

Since zombies are rotting corpses, they also have brittle bones so you don't need a large caliber round. I would go with a .22 in my opinion. Good range and with little recoil they are incredibly accurate since you will be aiming at a small target (head). You can carry much more ammo since the rounds are smaller and lighter and they are also very common aswell. You would just need a rifle that could hold a large clip. For close range a pump shotty would be great. The less you have to carry the better so I would just stick with the two guns and good machette for hand to hand.

What about zombies that just turn all of the sudden.
