Spawn protection? Yes? No? Maybe? thoughts?
Thought it would be a good idea, and maybe ppl who still attack and hit someone
while they have spawn protection still die?

That would be good, I hate being dinked in the head the beginning of the round because of a retarded team mate and then getting shot once by the enemy. The biggest thing though is the punishment needs to stay on the attacker so they hopefully learn their lesson.

I know it isnt true spawn protection but we do have one in place, if the worry was about being team attacked then we should just put in a 3 sec buy time so no one accidentally shot after the round ended. Though I dont think we will see any changes.

putting in 3 seconds doesn't help the people who rush strait out of the gate its pretty simple when the round ends stop firing

I don't think some of you guys understand what syntax is asking for, the spawn protection he's saying is keep it like it is right now but have it so everyone is immune to damage for like 5 seconds or so but if someone were to attack an immune person they would still die. Pretty much like what some of the admins do when they get attacked in spawn, they get their health dropped and then just add their hp back.

the current system does have some flaws, but overall i haven't had a huge issue personally get attacked, More often than not its accidental, and when its done on purpose the player is usually dealt with pretty quickly

The server will never have buy time. Pretty sure that has been discussed in the past.
The current system does have flaws but it works.

i enjoy seeing a random person die at the beginning of the round :D

i do think we should have a 1-2 second freezetime tho, most ppl still havent learned to press B then R.

Open floor- Where dreams come to die.

Seriously though, a 3 second immune time would be great. You can say, "don't be a retard, k thanks"..... but you have to realize we're not the only ones on the server and we have to deal with potatoes and trolls all the time. Yea you guys can kick them and stuff, but that doesn't fix the problem where we still get damaged.

Ya we keep asking this but it doesn't seem like people are understanding what we want.

To add to Savage's post, the only "Spawn Protection" we want is so that people don't get punished for the idiots that accidentally/intentionally shoot someone in spawn, sure they need to get slayed to learn their lesson but the people who are in their cross-hair should have their health reimbursed or at least be protected from damage for the duration of that time.

Currently it's a 3 second window where if you attack someone in spawn you die, we just want to add to it so that people still die but the person they shoot don't get their hp taken away. Maybe give everyone 500 hp during that time and then it drops back down to 100 hp after the spawn window ends.

Again, if you read the posts no one is saying take away the people dying at the beginning of the round for accidentally/intentionally spawn attacking. We just want protection from losing health from the idiots that do the attacking.

Of the thousands of rounds of CS yall play a year you cant handle playing a few of them starting out with 92 health? Think of starting out with lower health a challenge in an otherwise repetitive game

I generally dont have a problem with attacking in spawn. Its usually when the round ends and im shooting at a bad guy running away and I play like a noob and spray at him is when I spawn attack and die. Most of the people that play in our server dont have a problem with this usually either but we do occasionally get the random downy who just doesnt get it.

If I Downy Brownie and spray into the next round, then die, I laugh it off because I deserved it. However, the person I hit didn't, and if I landed a headshot, there goes a portion of their health. Now I don't do this often, but there are others that do this A LOT, and it happens more than you would think.
