mossy you can also use the number keys to buy shit faster. that is what i have done in source, cz, and 1.X. it's so much faster, cause you just remember that 1 is pistols, 2 is shotguns, 3 is smg's, 4 is rifles, 5 is machine gun, 6 is equipment. then you just remember which items in each category you like. shit works great for pistol rounds and low money, etc. it's why i am always one of the first out of spawn each round.

i'll tell you the one thing that they don't have that i already miss is being able to hit R to rebuy my previous after hitting B. or maybe it exists and i just haven't tried it yet....

anyway, back on topic. $15 for this game is well worth it in my opinion, but they do have some minor fixes and improvements to make first, like the scoreboard.

I just binded(or should I say made a script) each numpad key to different things I'd normally buy. Like, num 7 is "AK/M4, armor, helmet, kit." That way it works for both t and ct. 8 is "Deagle armor helmet kit" then 4,5,6 are the different nades. Then I have some binded for those rounds when you don't have much cash. I only have to press 5 buttons at most(would be 4 but I buy 2 flashes) on my way out of spawn to have everything I need.

Im gonna do the binding thing, ill just bind it to my macros i guess..

but F2 is so far for my little hand to reach....

and caniboid, in CSS i use my numpad to bind admin commands and stuff like that, so i forgot i could use them in CSGO... i will have to work on this next weekend when i have time to play again.

Ok so from wut ive heard and read the main reason it is going to only be $15 is because its coming out on psn and xbl arcade and no games on either console cost more than like $17 so it helps us pc players out alot XD... the score board issue i dont think will be getting fixed for the main purpose that i believe that valve is trying to make it as competative as possible with still keeping the public server feel to it although i could very possible be wrong.

As for it going into open beta i honestly dont see that happening until late june to mid july until they have most of the issues/bugs worked out although they are continuisly expanding it quickly.

As i have a beta key imo the biggest problems atm that should be looked into are as follows..

1) The movement is still a little icy
2) Imo the sound guns are to loud and over power the sound of footsteps and there is no depth u as far as stereo yet u can hear someone half way accross the map like thier right next to u if everything is completely quiet so imo there is to much directional sound and not enough stereo/depth

other than that i have yet to find any other major things that they have yet to assess.

and i would love your imput to anyone who has the beta if there has been anything MAJOR that i have missed XD

It's all about learning the recoil patterns or "Feel" for the guns. Once you get that then you can put your CS know how to work along with knowledge of the new guns. Play gun game or arsenal it helps with getting a feel for all the guns.

shooting the guns in GO makes it feel like a completely different game..
Its very different IMO.
