 Minecraft server
Didn't we use to have a clean minecraft server (no mod)?
I'm not sure where to find the mods required to join the server. Can any1 help me out really quick?

 Re: Minecraft server
Just download the .zip on the first post of the Whitelist thread and add those to your mods folder.

LeCoq wrote: Didn't we use to have a clean minecraft server (no mod)? Yeah, we did have one. Everyone was ready for a reset of the server, and we decided to give some mods a try this go around. Obviously there's some people confused about this, and some even unwilling to try the mods out, but that was bound to happen. Going to make things a little more clear as far as where to look when stuff like this happens. At least I HOPE it becomes clearer.

 Re: Minecraft server
Meh I think I lost all interest in this game just because I stopped playing for too long, now it's changing way too fast for me..
Not that it's getting worst or anything, but I was used to the alpha and early beta.

The fact that they're constantly updating the game speaks volumes for the company. How many games get weekly releases and feature-adds a year after their release FOR F*CKING FREE? None.

 Re: Minecraft server
Gman, did I complain about how stupid they are for updating the game?
Jesus christ man, I played longer than you have, until you stopped calling this game homo, I know how hard they're working on it.
But as I said, if you stop playing a couple of months, you miss a SHITLOAD of new features and you need to learn to play the game again.

Maybe next update Vanilla will return, for now, if you want to play n00b suck it up and install the mods and play. or do what I do, sit in a corner and wait for the next update.

 Re: Minecraft server
if i install the mods though, does that mean i cant use or make certain things? since they will be replaced?
say i wanted to just go digging around like normal, would the mods interfere with that ?

ResinCactus wrote: i say i wanted to just go digging around like normal, would the mods interfere with that ? No, to my knowledge that necessarily just "add" things and don't take things away from the core game. Are you going to run into elements of the mod such as different types of blocks and what not? More than likely. Will this effect your gameplay, that is up to you.
