All these over the top mobo's make me want them, until I realize they're super F*CKING stupid! These super boards are like cool to look at but their practicality is really no higher than a $180 dollar board, unless you factor in E-peen.

You can get 128gn of ram using 16 gb sticks, like this
http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-32GB-SDRA ... m_sbs_pc_1

2x16 for $407.03, so you need 4 of them giving a grand total of $1628.12

what OS supports 128 GB of RAM? And I bet you need a lot of fans on that thing to keep it from overheating. I had a sweet top-of-the-line ASUS mobo several years ago that was part of a liquid cooled PC, and the mobo overheated all the time. I had to pull the side of the case off and point a house fan into it in order to play games and shit. LAME.

I believe 64bit windows 7 supports up to... 192gb. But to fully utilize the architecture you'd need into the trillions of gb. I think someone did the math. Whatever 2^64 bits is. 1.84467441 × 10^13 gigabytes of data.

Or at least, that's what my CS friends say.

But in the winter, you won't need to pay for heat so it makes up for it.
