Damn man, like I think the longer the shift the easier it is. Short shifts piss me off. Only thing is, how many long shifts in the week are being done, for how many days in a row and what other responsibilities exist outside of work? Not true, when your job is to fix sorority girls's computers and aid the horde of stupid students that can't follow directions, you wouldn't want to stay long shifts. Also, it was like a 4-5 hour shift 4-5 times a week depending on my exam schedule that I had to keep up b/c of college.

Yeah my point is essentially that it depends on the amount of stress you get put through, and of what nature that stress happens to be. There are some jobs where I can barely stand an hour just based upon the conditions. However, doing the very same work for other people, I can go about it all day if I have to.

I personally love to hear all of your work stories. It leads me to believe that you younger guys are not a complete waste of a generation. All of you who work and pay taxes need to pay attention to the shear volume of dollars that our Govt. just gives away to lazy ass people.

 Re: OMG 12 hr days
Don't scare me about all this "working" shit. I just got out of college with an engineering degree and now work full time. Though I feel I will spend at the most the same amount of time I have spent in school (I was on campus working/in class 6 days a week most weeks). But now I won't have homework hanging over my head when I'm not working. Just gotta delegate your time. Every summer when I was working full time I would just go home, take a nap, wake up and rage. Seems to work as long as I stay young...

 Re: OMG 12 hr days
I jam a 65 hr work week into 5 days. However, on my days off, I am not to be called, paged, or even thought of by anyone nearing the vicinity of my work place.
