How do all you full time working people find time to game. I am at work a min of 10.5hrs everyday usually 6:30am-5pm and then i have a 1hr commute in the evening fml. I thought making some cash and being out of school would be awsome, but now I just want to turn back the hands of time.

Shit reminds me of my first job as a full-time workstudy at my school's tech desk during the summer. With commute I worked 12 hour days all for minimum wage. 90% of my check was spent on commuting costs and lunch.

Primarily did that shitty deal just to get some experience in some form of IT.

I used to work 3-5 16 hour shifts a week when I was younger. Sad thing is I played more then than I do now only working 40 hours day shift mon-fri.

in the army i worked 16-18 hour days with no garuntee we would have the weekend off, any kind of school is 100X better than any job regardless of pay IMO.

10.5 hour days? You pu$$y. I've been working 10-12 hour days with 2-4 hours more computer work at home at night since February 1st. I have only had time to play for a few hours on the weekends, but I still get some time in when I can. Harden the F*CK up :)

I've been on 13 hour shift 6 days a week since December. Nuclear construction yayyyy. I usually fit in like 30min to an hour of gaming in everyday, then reserve a day to do stuff like laundry and clean. That always ends up becoming my gaming time anyway so I have some pretty ripe smelling clothes. I'm still not sure how I managed to get a girlfriend while doing all this..

Yeah man up.Ive been on 12 hrs 6 days a week for almost two years. I often think i should just quit and find something with less hrs but dam don't the money look good. But it just so happens im probably out of work for a while after today,as half the mill i work at burned down today. I tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher,felt the heat of death and said F*CK it i like me too much. Everyone else pretty much run around like idiots. Got some good pics,might post em later.

Yeah i thought it was going to be like 10hrs a day and i can do that but now its turning into 12.5-13hrs + an hr commute each way and that shit is not cool. I need to get a better location for my next rotation because this 15hr day shit is old after two weeks. I basically sleep go to work go straight home eat and go back to sleep. I must find a way to make my money and not have to work these hrs.

Damn man, like I think the longer the shift the easier it is. Short shifts piss me off. Only thing is, how many long shifts in the week are being done, for how many days in a row and what other responsibilities exist outside of work?
