Did he intend to kill Trayvon Martin? Almost certainly not. Did his actions contribute to the death of Trayvon Martin? Absolutely. Did this occur during the commission of a crime? Definitely not.

That is the definition of Manslaughter. Second Degree Murder requires that the perp cause the death of an individual while committing a crime so that charge is ridiculous, but the guy is clearly guilty of Manslaughter.

Even the author of the "Stand Your Ground" Law in Florida has come on record as saying that the moment you engage in pursuit the law no longer applies. The moment Zimmerman decided to get out of his car and pursue Trayvon Martin through the neighborhood is the moment that "Stand Your Ground" became irrelevant to his case. He brought this on himself, the fact that Trayvon attacked him after being pursued is irrelevant. Any one of us would have done the same if we felt threatened.

If the phone call was in fact real and the cops told zimmerman NOT TO PURSUE, and yet he did anyway....,if that shit is true then HE CANNOT CLAIM stand your ground, because he is in fact the instigator.( if the phone call is true)

Zimmerman had no motive, and only one shot was fired after a struggle. This is clearly manslaughter not murder. He should get 10-20 so he can think about shooting someone after he stalked him down and got his ass kicked. (if in deed all the facts are correct.)
