Post Misadventures In 4-bit Land
After running Microsoft Update and applying the GeForce 2 driver, my screen looked like this:

Obviously, now that I'm running the proper drivers and have maxed out my monitor's resolution to 1440x900, the computer runs like shit but displays beautifully.

Right click your desktop. Not an icon, but the actual desktop. Then go to properties, Click on the settings tab. Set the color quality to 32 bit, and the resolution to something different like 1024 x 768, 1920 x 1080, etc.. See if that helps.. Could also be bad drivers, and you may need to re install them.

If you walk into a Starbucks and order a "decaf grande half-soy, half-low
fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with
one Sweet-n'-Low and one NutraSweet," ooh, you're a huge asshole.

I destroyed Amanda's PC because just...something to do. As far as the whole 'get a new PC' thing goes, no. I'm pretty low on cash atm. I sold my badass hexacore with the 6870 (I bought it just so I could win the n00bfest tourney and I did, so F*CK you all I top-fragged like a boss) so I could pay my rent.

As far as 'right click, properties, settings' shit I tried. It would go up to 16-bit on the drop-down but it wouldn't actually change.

I downloaded and installed 'actual' Forceware drivers from the nVidia website. I'm in 1440x900 now with 32-bit color.
