Don't know why, but we just played it in the server, and everyone's pings were over 100 and everyone was laggy. Map issue?

Something you sacrifice with this map. While it looks pretty it is not optimized very well.

The server has been having issues lately like this on every map. Even when loading new maps it sits on the "Server is changing level..." and no bars show up for like 10 seconds or so. It was restarted but it didn't fix it.

Edit: Okay the issues on that map aren't what I'm talking about on every map, the server just can't handle de_rush_v2 I guess, but the server still is having issues on every map with lag and the "Server is changing level..." lasting 30 seconds with no bar, which didn't happen a week ago.

It's official: This map lags the server or lags the game.

It's a good map but I believe since the server is on a shared CPU, it's demand is too great with all the water surrounding. But yes remove it, if I can find a fix for it I will let you know

Edit: I found out that after the Orange Box update, the map crashes/lags too bad for servers. My bad guys.

try the original de_rush? not the v2? maybe that one won't lag it. I do like the map -- the map is friggin' awesome! But I just couldn't deal with the lag and all....

Ya, I didn't remove that part. It's the map after Orange Box update, I did research on it.

I've played it as recently as last year, and it didn't lag then. When did v2 come out, not sure if I played the original or v2. The map itself lagged but only because I didn't have a video card. It ran on the server fine though.

this map kills my fps. personally i hate the lighting, shits too bright.
