Re: What is this? Ya that cave is full of diamonds, iron, redstone, and abandoned mines. I've also found 1 monster spawner (interestingly it shows pigs as the monster being spawned)

Re: What is this? Yeah they only have that fixed for Single Player where it shows the actual mob that it spawns. Multi-player always shows pigs. Not sure why they haven't fixed that yet.
