Post Assassins creed revelations
kinda disappointed me anybody else i mean it had the series has a great story great drop off endings that leave you wanting more but this one was not as great as the rest the bomb making was cool and the hookblade was awesome but it was short and you had no contact with mercs or the Romanians or the thieves guild. one thing i really like was the fight for dens when you controled one the templars would attack it and you had to defend it by ordering your assassins to defend them.

Post Re: Assassins creed revelations
So, my thoughts on this despite the age of the thread. I got this for Christmas, and I've yet to beat it. When I play Assassin's Creed, it's one of those games where I'm hardcore gaming with it for a few days, then the buzz slowly dies off and I leave it be for anywhere up to a few days to a few weeks.

Anywho, as you mentioned before the hookblade, bombs and den battles were awesome. I liked it a lot better than just getting a tower and leaving it at that like in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. The Full Syncs are a little bit easier in my opinion. There's still a challenge to them and I still have to go back a couple times so that I actually get it, but it's a noticeable nerf in difficulty. The factions like you said are a bit lacking in the sense that you only have a side-mission or two and that's it. I personally don't even use them that much unless it's required for something, which isn't often.

Other than that, the game as a whole feels a lot like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Yes it continued on with the story, but it didn't bring much to the table in regards to new features. Obviously there's parts to the game that you can't change, or it just wouldn't be another Assassin's Creed, but in the same respect it's making it just that; another Assassin's Creed game. The whole monotony of the missions and what you are able to do outside of those really limits the game. Don't get me wrong, I still have my fun and the bombs are a great addition to that fun, but other than that I'm not as thrilled as I was when it went from Assassin's Creed to Assassin's Creed 2.
