 UFC 141: Lesnar vs Overeem
UFC 141 is in about an hour so Im looking to see what fighters other people have picked tonight.
Ill start with mine
Fight 1: Nam Phan vs Jimy Hettes Not sure about this fight. Im not a fan of Phan but ive never seen Jimy Hettes fight so I cant make an educated guess on this fight at all. Phan will probably squeak out the UD.
Fight 2: Vladimir Matyushenko Vs. Alexander Gustafsson Big Big Big fight. Ive been watching Vlad for a long time and Alexander isnt someone to cough at. I expect someone to get knocked out in this fight. Gustafsson has finished EVERY FIGHT HES BEEN IN. Im torn 50 50 on this. Either one can go to sleep.
Fight 3: Jon Fitch Vs. Johny Hendricks I hate Jon fitch and im going to be biased and hope he gets finished tonight. Im tired of his fights. Hes boring as F*CK and it would make my night if that happens. Otherwise its Jon fitch by lay and pray for 3 boring ass F*CKING rounds
Fight 4: Nate Diaz Vs. Donald Cerrone Wow where to start. This fight is going to be disgusting. I really wish this fight was 5 rounds instead of the main event (ill get to why) because this is going to be GOOD. Nate is a F*CKING beast like his brother with both coming out of the Caeser Gracie camp which is not something to overlook at all. Donald is also a beast fighter coming out of the Greg Jackson camp. Ive been watching him come through the WEC and hes just a great fighter. He F*CKING ran through one of my favorite fighters , german kickboxer Dennis Siver, in his last fight.
Nate by 3 rd. submission. Ill even try to call the submission and say itll end in a triangle choke.
Fight 5: Brock Lesnar Vs. Alistair Overeem This fight is going to be just nuts. On one hand you have a Monster Division 1 Wrestler and all around superfreak Brock lesnar and on the other hand you have a monster K-1 Kickboxing world champion and all round super freak Alistair Overeem. Im a HUGE K-1 fan and I know what he can do. If brock ends up in the clinch hes goin to fold. If he thought Cains fists hurt then Alistairs knees are going to be a whole new F*CKING experiance for him. Problem is If Brock gets the Reem to the ground then he may just completely outwork him and hammer fist the living shit out of him like he did to Frank Mir.....twice. I dont think this fight makes it 5 rounds. Hell Ill be royally bummed if this makes it out of the first round.
If it stays standing up then its Reem by Brutal F*CKING KO. If it goes to the ground then its Brock by brutal F*CKING KO.
Who do you have?

Re: UFC 141: Lesnar vs Overeem
Fight 1 = Hettes, Phan is a bit over rated in my eyes. Fight 2 = Vlad is great but Gus will finish it. Fight 3 = Fitch all the way! Fight 4 = I hope Cerrone but probably Diaz. The Diaz brothers are assholes! Fight 5 = Overeem in a first round KO! Lesners only chance in this fight is to take it to the mat.

This was good. I liked seeing Lesnar overwhelmed for once... and then that body kick was beautiful. Clearly a very painful shot.

Ya Lesners retiring :( It's sad cause he was a beast then he got that muscle disease (or stomach?) and never fully recovered from that.

When you know you're behind on training it really gets in your head. Not having your head in the game vs a monster like Overeem = live PPV execution.

Indeed, it will be interesting how UFC and Lesnar do without each other. They're two peas in a pod. I smell he'll pull a few Shamrocks.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the WWE. He could "wrastle" for a few more years and rake in some better money than he would in MMA.

Well there is talk that he might come back to wrestling because of what happened. He was put in their most recent game WWE 12 and there have been promos airing for a person coming back on 1-2-12 but... most people think it's Chris Jericho and not brock which now I'm going too far into it since I don't think Brock was planning on going into this fight and getting destoried soooo... Idk what to tell you.

that kick to his gut probably reaggravated his pain from surgery, I wasn't surprised by the fact thos ekicks took him out but I was surprised that he didnt' expect it. I hate that he's retiring, he could've been great, but life is greater than a paycheck.

Junior Dos Santos > Cain Velasquez > Brock Lesnar. on to UFC 142. VITOR BELFORT AND GABE GONZAGA ON THAT CARD F*CK YEAH. Vitor over Rumble Johnson by massive KO and Gabe Gonzaga over random nobody by massive head kick KO. Also Rousimar Palhares by kneebar that he doesnt let go of for 10 mins because hes mentally unstable.
