Server Sounds

 Server Soundslately....well everytime since moving over here and being on two laptop (this second one being my permanant home) i have to download the sound and a few plugin whatevers always when a new map loads and when i am in game none of those sounds wokr (apparent when an RTV goes and i don't hear te alarm). any solutions? oh and yes i'm on vista. anD i though the issue might be user privlages and messed with tehm and still no luck.

Re: Server Sounds When you type "quake", does it says that the sounds are enabled? As for the rtv thing, I don't know.

Go here: http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/mani_a ... e_pack.zip Download and extract to the appropriate directory. Restart steam. If it doesn't work you probably have the sounds in the wrong directory. _________________ |

Alright I'll try that, it might also be in a wrong directory too as it's 64 bit vista so its in a the "Program Folder (86X)" but I highly doubt that. Thanks mate. UPDATE: Fixed the sound issue, I'm no longer constantly downloading it and my sounds now work.
