Just buy the most expensive one you can and look for a good warranty. :P

570-590 GTX asst my personal favorites. I've heard good things about the 6950 and the 6970 sapphires from radeon as well.

Personally I am a believer in the 560ti when it comes between money and power.

Re: whats a good graphics card?
I did some research, and a lot of people prefer XFX or Sapphire cards because those companies have really good customer support, along with EVGA, who is pretty good as well. These are companies, not actual cards, but as long as you register your card purchase you'll have pretty good service should anything go wrong.

Re: whats a good graphics card?
It really depends on your budget and resolutions/monitor setup, but I absolutely love the HD 6970 and HD 6950 - both very powerful, single-core cards with (decently) lower power consumption than a 570 or a 580.
I was able to flash a Sapphire HD 6950 with an HD 6970 BIOS and unlocked the extra shader cores to basically make it a 6970. It was the DiRT 3 toxic edition but I haven't tried any other 6950s.

I'm running the GTX 560 Ti and it blows thru BF3 default settings, whatever those are.

Re: whats a good graphics card?
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.htmlDepends on what you mean by good and expect out of it. Someones good would start at 1000 on that chart, others might start at 1500-2000. 1000 would play CSS very well with a nice setup 1500 would play L4D2 ok If you are looking to play BF3 and all the other pretty games go for something 2500 and up.

Re: whats a good graphics card?
BF3 ran just fine on medium settings at 2650x1600 on a stock-clocked HD 6850. Probably can do high/ultra at 1920!
