 Bought a new handgun today
It's an Italian handgun made by a company called Tanfoglio. It's a CZ-75 clone chambered in 10mm auto. Paid less than $500 for it and 100rds of ammo.

Me rikey. My favorite kind of ammunition is baby skull seeking bullets, though.

wasn't 10mm LE only just a few years ago? it really is a good round.
CZ-75 is a great pistol. I've never heard of Tanfoglio though...

Re: Bought a new handgun today
so thats why it looks like a beast. I'm thinking of getting a good shotgun. Most likely 12 gauge for home defense, i dont think the 20 gauge i got will cut it, too long for this small house.

CZ-75 is a great pistol. I've never heard of Tanfoglio though... LE only? As far as I know, it's been available to the public for a while. It may be 5.7x28mm FN you're thinking about. 10mm is coming up on its 30-year anniversary. It's the parent cartridge of .40 S&W. My 9mm is a Springfield P9, which is a CZ75 clone. I did my research on Tanfoglio and they're a legit manufacturer. They have a lifetime warranty on everything they produce and have had guns place and win almost every major shooting competition in the world. They're just kinda like IMI/IWI in that they don't import into the USA; a third-party company does it for them. -Enlightened Viet wrote: so thats why it looks like a beast. Get a Remington 870 Marine Magnum and take it to a gunsmith to shorten the barrel to the length of the tube magazine. Put a pistol grip on it and fill it with 00 buckshot and you've got yourself the best home-defense weapon on the planet.

Re: Bought a new handgun today
Oh yeah - I bought another handgun today. I went to the store to buy a Winchester model 1897 shotgun that they had a week or two ago but they didn't have it when I went.... so I decided to get a .22LR pistol that my girlfriend and her sister can shoot when we go shooting. I looked at several - I liked the Walther P22 myself but she couldn't budge the slide or operate the slide release. We looked at some Ruger Mark II's but she couldn't operate the slide release on those either. We ended up getting a Sig Mosquito with 6 magazines for $350. Not a bad deal considering the magazines were $40 each at the F*CKING store. Anyway, this handgun has an ambidextrous safety, decocker, and a very simple design. I'll let you guys know how it shoots next week.

superflu wrote: Absolutely love sigs. Will be one of two things I purchase when I turn 21. I don't really like 'em that much. The trigger pull is like 4 miles long and you can't pull the trigger if there's no magazine in it. Both of those things are ridiculous flaws, but for $350, it's nice to have a handgun my girlfriend can safely shoot.

Re: Bought a new handgun today
The Sig p229 in 40 remains the most impressive pistol I've fired, just simply because I hit what I was pointing at each time I fired. I did not need to learn a thing about pistol-specific foibles in order to point & shoot & hit. I loved my HK P30 for the hand feel, awesome mag release, & ambidextrous controls, but it was a finicky beast when it came time to hit what I was shooting at.

Cool. I'll have to check them out. My brother has a Ruger Mark II. Nice short crisp trigger. The bull barrel is a plus also. A friend of mine has a Walther P22 , it's a fun little gun too. My next purchase will either be a national match AR-15 or another pistol. I've got the money saved up, but I keep waffling over which one I want more. I used to compete with service rifle on my university's rifle team. Had a lot of fun doing that. Wish I still had the time/$$ for it.

I mentioned it on the book of faces, the one that I had was a beast. It chewed up any ammo that I gave her. When I bought it the guy said to only shoot CCI through it or it will jam. Out of the thousands of rounds I put through it I maybe had a dozen malfunctions. Its to be expected with rimfire and shooting as much as I did before cleaning. As for the mags, you got a F*CKING steal. The 10MM is balistically the best round you choose for about anything. Ted Nugent hunts with a 10MM 1911 regularly for everything. I recently considered a Smith & Wesson 610, a revolver chambered in 10MM. Doesn't the Tangfolio have something to do with EA Witness? A friend of mine bought an EA Witness some time ago and I seem to remember Tangfolio being in the name.

Once you seen his eyes you would be thrown into a sexual euphoria that would render you lifeless but hard. Your weapon would fall from your hands hitting your C*CK before it falls to the ground. Due to the abnormally small size of your wang it would fit into the trigger and a round would be discharged into your anus. While you lie on the ground with a wound to your anus that your normally not used to a bum with aids would lick your wound clean. Then we would spoon.
