God I haven't paintballed in years now. Nice lookin' Ion deffinitly best bang for your buck. I will say though I always hated the trigger.

You got it set to ramp? Most fields its illegal but you can get away with it haha.

I haven't been on a field in years but I rocked a Shocker (also owned an Ion and an Epiphany [Ions younger bigger brother])

The only thing I dislike about the trigger is how flimsy it feels, but I also have to say that the trigger itself works very well, and its very comfortable. I do have it set to ramp because I know that ramp mode is legal in all tournaments I've competed in, but illegal in other tournaments. The event we're going to in November deems any fire modes legal. I F*CKING love Shockers. I would've gotten a shocker if I had had the money about 4 or 5 years ago, but Shockers were twice the price of Ion and I got my ion as a kit that came with the Ion (black stock body), a Smart Parts MaxxFlo Regulator, a 45/3000 compressed air tank, and the Freak barrel (best barrel evarr).... all for $350 brand new. This was when Smart Parts was the most badass and amazing paintball manufacturer around... and before they sadly went out of business (technically).

Side note: The Ion and the Shocker are basically the same marker, minus the fact that the Ion is a contained-bolt marker and the shocker isnt, until the Ion XE came out, and then you could remove the bolt from the back.

FYI, there's a bbcode that I made about a year ago called "img100" that you can use to make images fit the screen. Horizontal scrollbars are the devil.
