So yeah...I kinda disappeared this summer, I apologize for that. I was working a fuckton, and didn't have much time to play much of anything, schools started again too. Good news however? I made a ton of money, and I just ordered my new comp from IBuyPower!!!! So once it comes in, lots of gaming goodness, BF3 ordered, skyrim ordered, going to buy SC2, pre order DIII, and all kinds of fun shit!!! also I have a 360 now, got hella cheap, IVCC2009 is my xbox live info.
P.S. Gman, no luck on getting my bike up here...I had the time, and no money, then I had the money and no time.

So I was checking out Best Buy today, and I had talked to some people there on multiple occasions. What is the best anti virus with bang for your buck? it's 90$ for Kaspersky Pure, and it seems worth it. Opinions?

Kaspersky is the best antivirus software on the market... or at least was when I looked at the numbers in 2007.

I use Avast! and I am throughly happy with it...

Though I would be tempted to try Kaspersky and/or ESET as well.

I don't run AV software, generally, but just installed AVG free to get rid of a stupid virus I got when I downloaded a keygen. It failed to remove it, but ComboFix did. AVG is still installed.

I'm trying to think if I even need it now...I do some online shopping, but for the overall safety and security of my computer, do I need it?

Generally speaking, if you're intelligent and don't use IE for your day-to-day browsing (includes porno), then you don't need AV software. If you're THAT worried about it, use a shitty free AV application. If you want to be super-secure, go as far as to use sandboxie or a live Ubuntu disc/USB key for online shopping.

Wait, I was just thinking about this. If you made a ton of money, even if it was in one dollar bills, that'd make you have a little less $1million... Each bill weighs about 1 gram, so to get to a ton, wow. That's a lotta bills! Imagine if they were in twenty dollar bills, a ton of those? Man...Just thinking out loud here, not trollin'.
