No, because the hopper sucks, the 98 is mediocre at best and it doesn't even come with the tank.

So that knocks out the marker, hopper, tanks, and the facemask. Now I pretty much just need gear (camo pants, decent boots, camping equipment and basic needs), right? Or is there anything else as far as the marker is concerned that I need to look into?

Great to hear that, bud. Good to help you out. All you'll need now is the radio (a Motorola Talkabout is ideal). Be sure to get that tank hydrotested sometime in the future. Its not imperative to get it tested before you go to this tournament because they'll fill it there anyway (as long as it doesn't blow up on them when they fill it), but its good to know the tank is in good enough shape to be filled. Hydrostatic tests are good for 5 years.

Pick up a paintball pod harness with that can hold about 5 pods. You'll need them. Trust me on that one. This one is a great example:

I went out and got a Smart Parts ION and an Invert Mini for owning. They wont let me bring the air tanks on the plane but I can bring the guns (retarded) so I will probably just ship them. I will have 5 air tanks so plenty of extras. I also have an extra belt with ammo pods. I just wish kano was going so I could shoot him in the dick.

Marker upgrades complete. Added the Lapco Ultra lowrise clamping feedneck and the CP on/off ASA. All I want now is a dope-ass metal bodykit that makes it look like a Shocker or something. Easy to get and attach. SO STOKED FOR NOVEMBER!
