The whole court case played out like a movie, and I am sure that it will become one before long. But yeah, she might have avoided a murder conviction, but she won't get off unscathed by society. Even if she didn't kill the kid, the feeling I got from the whole situation was that at some point Casey was choosing between having a life for herself (partying, living life freely, etc - lol @ her being voted hottest mom at a bar or whatever withing the timeframe of her kid being dead) or being a mother, and she very much did not want to be a mother.

I guess he assumed he had the case and decided it was ok to act like idiot. However, our justice system is set up so that innocent people do not ever get sent to jail,(unless you are black).
